Siân J. Kavanagh

Siân J. Kavanagh is an editor, writer, photographer and communications specialist based in Amsterdam. Her eye for detail allows her to not only photograph Amsterdam’s most hidden street art but also be the grammar nerd that turns your wildest thoughts and ideas into publishable gold.

Siân received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the University of Oregon in 2014 and her joint Erasmus Mundus master’s degree in journalism, media and globalisation from Aarhus University and the University of Amsterdam in 2019.

Ranging from social media management to content production, Siân has an all-round media experience including public sector communications, broadcast media, social media management for non-profits, copywriting and editing, and magazine writing.

When Siân’s not walking around Amsterdam with her disposable camera, she’s copyediting for advertising agencies and seeking further job opportunities.
